Tripple Terms & Conditions

Terms of Service

Legac-E LLC builds technologies and services that enable people to connect with each other, build communities, and grow businesses. These Terms govern your use of Tripple, and the other products, features, apps, services, technologies, and software we offer (the Legac-E Products or Products), except where we expressly state that separate terms (and not these) apply. These Products are provided to you by Legac-E LLC.
We don’t charge you to use Tripple or the other products and services covered by these Terms. Instead, businesses and organizations pay us to show you ads for their products and services. By using our Products, you agree that we can show you ads that we think will be relevant to you and your interests. We use your personal data to help determine which ads to show you. We don’t sell your personal data to advertisers, and we don’t share information that directly identifies you (such as your name, email address or other contact information) with advertisers unless you give us specific permission. Instead, advertisers can tell us things like the kind of audience they want to see their ads, and we show those ads to people who may be interested. We provide advertisers with reports about the performance of their ads that help them understand how people are interacting with their content. See Section 2 below to learn more. Our Data Policy explains how we collect and use your personal data to determine some of the ads you see and provide all of the other services described below. You can also go to your settings at any time to review the privacy choices you have about how we use your data.

Our mission is to give people the power to build a community around their digital legacy and to connect their present with their future across the world. To help advance this mission, we provide the Products and services described below to you:

  • Provide a personalized experience for you: Your experience on Tripple is unlike anyone else’s: from the posts, stories, events, ads, and other content you see in News Feed or our video platform to the Tripple Pages you follow and other features you might use, such as Charity, Inheritance, Casts, Albums, Council of Elders and Search. We use the data we have – for example, about the connections you make, the choices and settings you select, and what you share and do on and off our Products – to personalize your experience.
  • Connect you with people and organizations you care about: We help you find and connect with people, groups, businesses, organizations, and others that matter to you across the Tripple Products you use. We use the data we have to make suggestions for you and others – for example, groups to join, events to attend, Pages to follow or send a message to, shows to watch, and people you may want to become friends with or connect to as family. A strong Digital Legacy is based on connected communities, and we believe our services are most useful when people are connected to people, groups, and organizations they care about.
  • Empower you to express yourself and communicate about what matters to you: There are many ways to express yourself on Tripple and to communicate with friends, family, and others about what matters to you – for example, sharing status updates, photos, videos, and stories across the Legac-E Products you use, sending messages to a friend or several people, creating community service, fundraiser, or other events or groups, giving to charities or foundations, organizing your inheritances or adding content to your profile. We have also developed, and continue to explore, new ways for people to use technology, such as integrated cryptocurrency, augmented/virtual reality and 360 video to create and share more expressive and engaging content on Legac-E Products.
  • Help you discover content, products, and services that may interest you: We show you ads, offers, and other sponsored content to help you discover content, products, and services that are offered by the many businesses and organizations that use Tripple and other Legac-E Products. Section 2 below explains this in more detail.
  • Combat harmful conduct and protect and support our community: People will only build community on Legac-E Products if they feel safe. We employ dedicated teams around the world and develop advanced technical systems to detect misuse of our Products, harmful conduct towards others, and situations where we may be able to help support or protect our community. If we learn of content or conduct like this, we will take appropriate action – for example, offering help, removing content, removing or restricting access to certain features, disabling an account, or contacting law enforcement. We share data with other Legac-E Companies when we detect misuse or harmful conduct by someone using one of our Products.
  • Use and develop advanced technologies to provide safe and functional services for everyone: We use and develop advanced technologies – such as artificial intelligence, machine learning systems, and augmented reality – so that people can use our Products safely regardless of physical ability or geographic location. For example, technology like this helps people who have visual impairments understand what or who is in photos or videos shared on Tripple or Instagram. We also build sophisticated network and communication technology to help more people connect to the internet in areas with limited access. And we develop automated systems to improve our ability to detect and remove abusive and dangerous activity that may harm our community and the integrity of our Products.
  • Research ways to make our services better: We engage in research to develop, test, and improve our Products. This includes analyzing the data we have about our users and understanding how people use our Products, for example by conducting surveys and testing and troubleshooting new features. Our Data Policy explains how we use data to support this research for the purposes of developing and improving our services.
  • Provide consistent and seamless experiences across the Legac-E Company Products: Our Products help you find and connect with people, groups, businesses, organizations, and others that are important to you. We design our systems so that your experience is consistent and seamless across the different Legac-E Company Products that you use. For example, we use data about the people you engage with on Tripple to make it easier for you to connect with them across partner companies, and we enable you to communicate with a business you follow on Tripple.
  • Enable global access to our services: To operate our global service, we need to store and distribute content and data in our data centers and systems around the world, including outside your country of residence. This infrastructure may be operated or controlled by Legac-E Platforms, or its affiliates.

Instead of paying to use Tripple and the other products and services we offer, by using the Tripple Products covered by these Terms, you agree that we can show you ads that businesses and organizations pay us to promote on and off the Tripple Company Products. We use your personal data, such as information about your activity and interests, to show you ads that are more relevant to you.

Protecting people’s privacy is central to how we’ve designed our ad system. This means that we can show you relevant and useful ads without telling advertisers who you are. We don’t sell your personal data. We allow advertisers to tell us things like their business goal, and the kind of audience they want to see their ads (for example, people between the age of 18-35 who like cycling). We then show their ad to people who might be interested.

We also provide advertisers with reports about the performance of their ads to help them understand how people are interacting with their content on and off Tripple. For example, we provide general demographic and interest information to advertisers (for example, that an ad was seen by a woman between the ages of 25 and 34 who lives in Madrid and likes software engineering) to help them better understand their audience. We don’t share information that directly identifies you (information such as your name or email address that by itself can be used to contact you or identifies who you are) unless you give us specific permission.

Tripple Micro Advertisements are created when favorite products are identified by your family members or friends. Once a user identifies a favorite item through the Tripple Cast questions, a Micro Advertisement is created and shown only to your friends and family. This is a feature which helps keeps the advertising environment small and intimate with more meaningful representation of products to the group. The promoting family member who identified their favorite item ie favorite type of car, favorite butter, etc, will be identified and associated with the favorited product and this will be displayed to the connection or family group. The user has the ability to control Micro Advertisements and whether they are shown within the Settings section of Tripple.

We collect and use your personal data in order to provide the services described above to you. You can learn about how we collect and use your data in our Data Policy. You have controls over the types of ads and advertisers you see, and the types of information we use to determine which ads we show you.

We provide these services to you and others to help advance our mission. In exchange, we need you to make the following commitments:

1.Who can use Tripple

When people stand behind their opinions and actions, our community is safer and more accountable. For this reason, you must:

  • Use the same name that you use in everyday life.
  • Provide accurate information about yourself.
  • Create only one account (your own) and use your timeline for personal purposes.
  • Not share your password, give access to your Tripple account to others, or transfer your account to anyone else (without our permission) unless it is a function of the Tripple Next of Kin capabilities.

We try to make Tripple broadly available to everyone, but you cannot use Tripple if:

  • You are under 13 years old.
  • You are a convicted sex offender.
  • We’ve previously disabled your account for violations of our Terms or Policies.
  • You are prohibited from receiving our products, services, or software under applicable laws.

2.What you can share and do on Legac-E Products

We want people to use Legac-E Products to express themselves and to share content that is important to them, but not at the expense of the safety and well-being of others or the integrity of our community. You therefore agree not to engage in the conduct described below (or to facilitate or support others in doing so):

  • You may not use our Products to do or share anything:
  • That violates these Terms, our Community Standards, and other terms and policies that apply to your use of our Products.
  • That is unlawful, misleading, discriminatory or fraudulent.
  • That infringes or violates someone else’s rights, including their intellectual property rights.
  • You may not upload viruses or malicious code or do anything that could disable, overburden, or impair the proper working or appearance of our Products.
  • You may not access or collect data from our Products using automated means (without our prior permission) or attempt to access data you do not have permission to access.
  • We can remove or restrict access to content that is in violation of these provisions. If we remove content that you have shared in violation of our Community Standards, we’ll let you know and explain any options you have to request another review, unless you seriously or repeatedly violate these Terms or if doing so may expose us or others to legal liability; harm our community of users; compromise or interfere with the integrity or operation of any of our services, systems or Products; where we are restricted due to technical limitations; or where we are prohibited from doing so for legal reasons. To help support our community, we encourage you to report content or conduct that you believe violates your rights (including intellectual property rights) or our terms and policies.
  • We also can remove or restrict access to your content, services or information if we determine that doing so is reasonably necessary to avoid or mitigate adverse legal or regulatory impacts to Legac-E.

3.The permissions you give us

We need certain permissions from you to provide our services:

  • Permission to use content you create and share: Some content that you share or upload, such as photos or videos, may be protected by intellectual property laws. You own the intellectual property rights (things like copyright or trademarks) in any such content that you create and share on Tripple and other Legac-E Company Products you use. Nothing in these Terms takes away the rights you have to your own content. You are free to share your content with anyone else, wherever you want. However, to provide our services we need you to give us some legal permissions (known as a ‘license’) to use this content. This is solely for the purposes of providing and improving our Products and services as described in Section 1 above. Specifically, when you share, post, or upload content that is covered by intellectual property rights on or in connection with our Products, you grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, and worldwide license to host, use, distribute, modify, run, copy, publicly perform or display, translate, and create derivative works of your content (consistent with your privacy and application settings). This means, for example, that if you share a photo on Tripple, you give us permission to store, copy, and share it with others (again, consistent with your settings) such as service providers that support our service or other Legac-E Products you use. This license will end when your content is deleted from our systems. You can delete content individually or all at once by deleting your account. You can download a copy of your data at any time before deleting your account. When you delete content, it’s no longer visible to other users, however it may continue to exist elsewhere on our systems where
  • immediate deletion is not possible due to technical limitations (in which case, your content will be deleted within a maximum of 90 days from when you delete it);
  • your content has been used by others in accordance with this license and they have not deleted it (in which case this license will continue to apply until that content is deleted); or
  • where immediate deletion would restrict our ability to investigate or identify illegal activity or violations of our terms and policies (for example, to identify or investigate misuse of our Products or systems); comply with a legal obligation, such as the preservation of evidence; or comply with a request of a judicial or administrative authority, law enforcement or a government agency; in which case, the content will be retained for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it has been retained (the exact duration will vary on a case-by-case basis).
  • In each of the above cases, this license will continue until the content has been fully deleted.

Permission to use your name, profile picture, and information about your actions with ads and sponsored content: You give us permission to use your name and profile picture and information about actions you have taken on Tripple next to or in connection with ads, offers, and other sponsored content that we display across our Products, without any compensation to you. For example, we may show your friends that you are interested in an advertised event or have liked a Tripple Page created by a brand that has paid us to display its ads on Tripple. Ads like this can be seen only by people who have your permission to see the actions you’ve taken on Legac-E Products. You can learn more about your ad settings and preferences.

Permission to update software you use or download: If you download or use our software, you give us permission to download and install updates to the software where available.

Limits on using our intellectual property If you use content covered by intellectual property rights that we have and make available in our Products (for example, images, designs, videos, or sounds we provide that you add to content you create or share on Tripple), we retain all rights to that content (but not yours). You can only use our copyrights or trademarks (or any similar marks) as expressly permitted by our Brand Usage Guidelines or with our prior written permission. You must obtain our written permission (or permission under an open source license) to modify, create derivative works of, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code from us.

1.Updating our Terms: We work constantly to improve our services and develop new features to make our Products better for you and our community. As a result, we may need to update these Terms from time to time to accurately reflect our services and practices. Unless otherwise required by law, we will notify you before we make changes to these Terms and give you an opportunity to review them before they go into effect. Once any updated Terms are in effect, you will be bound by them if you continue to use our Products. We hope that you will continue using our Products, but if you do not agree to our updated Terms and no longer want to be a part of the Tripple community, you can delete your account at any time.

2.Account suspension or termination: We want Tripple to be a place where people feel welcome and safe to create their digital legacy, bequeath and inherit items, perform charitable acts, mentor, express themselves and share their memories and ideas. If we determine that you have clearly, seriously or repeatedly breached our Terms or Policies, including in particular our Community Standards, we may suspend or permanently disable access to your account. We may also suspend or disable your account if you repeatedly infringe other people’s intellectual property rights or where we are required to do so for legal reasons. Where we take such action we’ll let you know and explain any options you have to request a review, unless doing so may expose us or others to legal liability; harm our community of users; compromise or interfere with the integrity or operation of any of our services, systems or Products; or where we are restricted due to technical limitations; or where we are prohibited from doing so for legal reasons. You can learn more about what you can do if your account has been disabled and how to contact us if you think we have disabled your account by mistake. If you delete or we disable your account, these Terms shall terminate as an agreement between you and us, but the following provisions will remain in place: 3, 4.2-4.5.

3.Limits on liability: We work hard to provide the best Products we can and to specify clear guidelines for everyone who uses them. Our Products, however, are provided “as is,” and we make no guarantees that they always will be safe, secure, or error-free, or that they will function without disruptions, delays, or imperfections. To the extent permitted by law, we also DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not control or direct what people and others do or say, and we are not responsible for their actions or conduct (whether online or offline) or any content they share (including offensive, inappropriate, obscene, unlawful, and other objectionable content). We cannot predict when issues might arise with our Products. Accordingly, our liability shall be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and under no circumstance will we be liable to you for any lost profits, revenues, information, or data, or consequential, special, indirect, exemplary, punitive, or incidental damages arising out of or related to these Terms or the Tripple Products, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Tripple Products will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you have paid us in the past twelve months.

4.Indemnification: You shall defend, indemnify and hold harmless us, our affiliates and each of our and their respective employees, contractors, directors, suppliers and representatives from all liabilities, claims and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, that arise from or relate to your use or misuse of, or access to, the Services, Content, or otherwise from Your Information, violation of these Terms, or infringement by you, or any third party using your Account or identity in the Services, of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity. We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will assist and cooperate with us in asserting any available defenses.

5.Disputes: We try to provide clear rules so that we can limit or hopefully avoid disputes between you and us. If a dispute does arise, however, it’s useful to know up front where it can be resolved and what laws will apply. For any claim, cause of action, or dispute you have against us that arises out of or relates to these Terms or the Legac-E Products (“claim”), you agree that it will be resolved exclusively in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York. You also agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of these courts for the purpose of litigating any such claim, and that the laws of the State of New York will govern these Terms and any claim, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

7.Other:

  • These Terms (formerly known as the Statement of Rights and Responsibilities) make up the entire agreement between you and Legac-E LLC. regarding your use of our Products. They supersede any prior agreements.
  • Some of the Products we offer are also governed by supplemental terms. If you use any of those Products, supplemental terms will be made available and will become part of our agreement with you. For instance, if you access or use our Products for commercial or business purposes, such as buying ads, selling products, developing apps, managing a group or Page for your business, or using our measurement services, you must agree to our Commercial Terms. If you post or share content containing music, you must comply with our Music Guidelines. To the extent any supplemental terms conflict with these Terms, the supplemental terms shall govern to the extent of the conflict.
  • If any portion of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining portion will remain in full force and effect. If we fail to enforce any of these Terms, it will not be considered a waiver. Any amendment to or waiver of these Terms must be made in writing and signed by us.
  • You will not transfer any of your rights or obligations under these Terms to anyone else without our consent.
  • You may designate a person (called a Next of Kin) to manage your account if it is memorialized. Only your Next of Kin contact or a person who you have identified in a valid will or similar document expressing clear consent to disclose your content upon death or incapacity will be able to seek disclosure from your account after it is memorialized.
  • You may designate a person (called a Medical Decision Maker) to release your Medical Will should the need arise. Only your Medical Decision makers will have access to these medical preferences and to whom they shall be released.
  • These Terms do not confer any third-party beneficiary rights. All of our rights and obligations under these Terms are freely assignable by us in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, or by operation of law or otherwise.
  • You should know that we may need to change the username for your account in certain circumstances (for example, if someone else claims the username and it appears unrelated to the name you use in everyday life).
  • We always appreciate your feedback and other suggestions about our products and services. But you should know that we may use them without any restriction or obligation to compensate you, and we are under no obligation to keep them confidential.
  • We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you.
Community Standards:

These guidelines outline our standards regarding the content you post to Tripple and your activity on Tripple and other Legac-E Products.

  • Introduction: Every day, people use Tripple to share their experiences, connect with friends and family, give charity, provide mentorship, bequeath their valuable items and build their digital legacy for the future. It’s a service for billions to freely express themselves across countries, cultures and generations. Legac-E recognizes how important it is for Tripple to be a place where people feel empowered to communicate, and we take our role seriously in keeping abuse off the service. That’s why we developed standards for what is and isn’t allowed on Tripple. These standards are based on feedback from people and the advice of experts in fields like technology, public safety and human rights. To ensure everyone’s voice is valued, we take great care to create standards that include different views and beliefs, especially from people and communities that might otherwise be overlooked or marginalized. Please note that the US English version of the Community Standards reflects the most up to date set of the policies and should be used as the master document.
  • Our commitment to voice: The goal of our Community Standards is to create a place for expression and give people a voice. Legac-E wants people to be able to talk openly about the memories and issues that matter to them, even if some may disagree or find them objectionable. In some cases, we allow content—which would otherwise go against our standards—if it’s newsworthy and in the public interest. We do this only after weighing the public interest value against the risk of harm, and we look to international human rights standards to make these judgments. Our commitment to expression is paramount, but we recognize the internet creates new and increased opportunities for abuse. For these reasons, when we limit expression, we do it in service of one or more of the following values:
  • AUTHENTICITY: We want to make sure the content people see on Tripple is authentic. We believe that authenticity creates a better environment for sharing, and that’s why we don’t want people using Tripple to misrepresent who they are or what they’re doing.
  • SAFETY: We’re committed to making Tripple a safe place. We remove content that could contribute to a risk of harm to the physical security of persons. Content that threatens people has the potential to intimidate, exclude or silence others and isn’t allowed on Tripple.
  • PRIVACY: We’re committed to protecting personal privacy and information. Privacy gives people the freedom to be themselves, choose how and when to share on Tripple and connect more easily.
  • DIGNITY: We believe that all people are equal in dignity and rights. We expect that people will respect the dignity of others and not harass or degrade others.
  • Community Standards: Our Community Standards apply to everyone, all around the world, and to all types of content. Each section of our Community Standards starts with a “Policy Rationale” that sets out the aims of the policy followed by specific policy lines that outline: Content that’s not allowed; and Content that requires additional information or context to enforce on, content that is allowed with a warning screen or content that is allowed but can only be viewed by adults aged 18 and older.
  • VIOLENCE AND CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR: Violence and Incitement We aim to prevent potential offline harm that may be related to content on Tripple. While we understand that people commonly express disdain or disagreement by threatening or calling for violence in non-serious ways, we remove language that incites or facilitates serious violence. We remove content, disable accounts and work with law enforcement when we believe there is a genuine risk of physical harm or direct threats to public safety. We also try to consider the language and context in order to distinguish casual statements from content that constitutes a credible threat to public or personal safety. In determining whether a threat is credible, we may also consider additional information like a person’s public visibility and the risks to their physical safety. In some cases, we see aspirational or conditional threats directed at terrorists and other violent actors (e.g. “Terrorists deserve to be killed”), and we deem those non-credible, absent specific evidence to the contrary.
  • Dangerous Individuals and Organizations: In an effort to prevent and disrupt real-world harm, we do not allow organizations or individuals that proclaim a violent mission or are engaged in violence to have a presence on Tripple. We assess these entities based on their behavior both online and offline, most significantly, their ties to violence. Under this policy, we designate individuals, organizations, and networks of people. These designations are divided into three tiers that indicate the level of content enforcement, with Tier 1 resulting in the most extensive enforcement because we believe these entities have the most direct ties to offline harm. Tier 1 focuses on entities that engage in serious offline harms – including organizing or advocating for violence against civilians, repeatedly dehumanizing or advocating for harm against people based on protected characteristics, or engaging in systematic criminal operations. Tier 1 entities include terrorist, hate, and criminal organizations. We remove praise, substantive support, and representation of Tier 1 entities as well as their leaders, founders, or prominent members. Tier 1 includes hate organizations; criminal organizations, including those designated by the United States government as Specially Designated Narcotics Trafficking Kingpins (SDNTKs); and terrorist organizations, including entities and individuals designated by the United States government as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs) or Specially Designated Global Terrorists (SDGTs). We remove praise, substantive support, and representation of Tier 1 entities as well as their leaders, founders, or prominent members. In addition, we do not allow content that praises, substantively supports, or represents events that Tripple designates as violating violent events – including terrorist attacks, hate events, multiple-victim violence or attempted multiple-victim violence, multiple murders, or hate crimes. Nor do we allow praise, substantive support, or representation of the perpetrator(s) of such attacks. We also remove content that praises, substantively supports or represents ideologies that promote hate, such as nazism and white supremacy. Tier 2 focuses on entities that engage in violence against state or military actors but do not generally target civilians — what we call “Violent Non-State Actors.” We remove all substantive support and representation of these entities, their leaders, and their prominent members. We remove any praise of these groups’ violent activities. Tier 3 focuses on entities that may repeatedly engage in violations of our Hate Speech or Dangerous Organizations policies on-or-off the platform or demonstrate strong intent to engage in offline violence in the near future, but have not necessarily engaged in violence to date or advocated for violence against others based on their protected characteristics. This includes Militarized Social Movements, Violence-Inducing Conspiracy Networks, and individuals and groups banned for promoting hatred. Tier 3 entities may not have a presence or coordinate on our platforms. We recognize that users may share content that includes references to designated dangerous organizations and individuals to report on, condemn, or neutrally discuss them or their activities. Our policies are designed to allow room for these types of discussions while simultaneously limiting risks of potential offline harm. We thus require people to clearly indicate their intent when creating or sharing such content. If a user’s intention is ambiguous or unclear, we default to removing content. In line with international human rights law, our policies allow discussions about the human rights of designated individuals or members of designated dangerous entities, unless the content includes other praise, substantive support, or representation of designated entities or other policy violations, such as incitement to violence. Please see our Corporate Human Rights Policy for more information about our commitment to internationally recognized human rights.
  • We Remove: We remove Praise, Substantive Support, and Representation of various Dangerous Organizations. These concepts apply to the organizations themselves, their activities, and their members. These concepts do not proscribe peaceful advocacy for particular political outcomes.
  • Praise, defined as any of the below: Speak positively about a designated entity or event; E.g., “The fighters for the Islamic State are really brave!” Give a designated entity or event a sense of achievement; E.g., “Timothy McVeigh is a martyr.” Legitimizing the cause of a designated entity by making claims that their hateful, violent, or criminal conduct is legally, morally, or otherwise justified or acceptable; E.g., “Hitler did nothing wrong.” Aligning oneself ideologically with a designated entity or event. E.g., “I stand with Brenton Tarrant.” We remove Praise of Tier 1 entities and designated events. We will also remove praise of violence carried out by Tier 2 entities.
  • Substantive Support, defined as any of the below: Any act which improves the financial status of a designated entity – including funneling money towards, or away from a designated entity; E.g., “Donate to the KKK!” Any act which provides material aid to a designated entity or event; E.g., “If you want to send care packages to the Sinaloa Cartel, use this address:” Putting out a call to action on behalf of a designated entity or event; E.g., “Contact the Atomwaffen Division – (XXX) XXX-XXXX” Recruiting on behalf of a designated entity or event; E.g., “If you want to fight for the Caliphate, DM me” Channeling information or resources, including official communications, on behalf of a designated entity or event E.g., Directly quoting a designated entity without caption that condemns, neutrally discusses, or is a part of news reporting. We remove Substantive Support of Tier 1 and Tier 2 entities and designated events.
  • Representation, defined as any of the below: Stating that you are a member of a designated entity, or are a designated entity; E.g., “I am a grand dragon of the KKK.” Creating a Page, Profile, Event, Group, or other Tripple entity that is or purports to be owned by a Designated Entity or run on their behalf, or is or purports to be a designated event. E.g., A Page named “American Nazi Party.” We remove Representation of Tier 1 and 2 Designated Organizations, Hate-Banned Entities, and designated events. Types and Tiers of Dangerous Organizations Tier 1: Terrorism, organized hate, large-scale criminal activity, attempted multiple-victim violence, multiple victim violence, multiple murders, and violating violent events We do not allow individuals or organizations involved in organized crime, including those designated by the United States government as specially designated narcotics trafficking kingpins (SDNTKs); hate; or terrorism, including entities designated by the United States government as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs) or Specially Designated Global Terrorists (SDGTs), to have a presence onthe platform. We also don’t allow other people to represent these entities. We do not allow leaders or prominent members of these organizations to have a presence on the platform, symbols that represent them to be used on the platform, or content that praises them or their acts. In addition, we remove any coordination of substantive support for these individuals and organizations. • SAFETY Suicide and Self-Injury Policy Rationale We care deeply about the safety of the people who use our apps. We regularly consult with experts in suicide and self-injury to help inform our policies and enforcement, and work with organizations around the world to provide assistance to people in distress. While we do not allow people to intentionally or unintentionally celebrate or promote suicide or self-injury, we do allow people to discuss these topics because we want Tripple to be a space where people can share their experiences, raise awareness about these issues, and seek support from one another. We define self-injury as the intentional and direct injuring of the body, including self-mutilation and eating disorders. We remove any content that encourages suicide or self-injury, including fictional content such as memes or illustrations and any self-injury content which is graphic, regardless of context. We also remove content that identifies and negatively targets victims or survivors of suicide or self-injury seriously, humorously or rhetorically, as well as real time depictions of suicide or self-injury. Content about recovery of suicide or self-harm that is allowed, but may contain imagery that could be upsetting, such as a healed scar, is placed behind a sensitivity screen. When people post or search for suicide or self-injury- related content, we will direct them to local organizations that can provide support and if our Community Operations team is concerned about immediate harm we will contact local emergency services to get them help. With respect to live content, experts have told us that if someone is saying they intend to attempt suicide on a livestream, we should leave the content up for as long as possible, because the longer someone is talking to a camera, the more opportunity there is for a friend or family member to call emergency services. However, to minimize the risk of others being negatively impacted by viewing this content, we will stop the livestream at the point at which the threat turns into an attempt. As mentioned above, in any case, we will contact emergency services if we identify someone is at immediate risk of harming themselves. In addition to our at-scale policy of removing content that threatens or advocates rape or other non-consensual sexual touching, we may also disable the posting account.
  • Bullying and Harassment Policy Rationale: Bullying and harassment happen in many places and come in many different forms from making threats and releasing personally identifiable information to sending threatening messages and making unwanted malicious contact. We do not tolerate this kind of behavior because it prevents people from feeling safe and respected on Tripple. We distinguish between public figures and private individuals because we want to allow discussion, which often includes critical commentary of people who are featured in the news or who have a large public audience. For public figures, we remove attacks that are severe as well as certain attacks where the public figure is directly tagged in the post or comment. For private individuals, our protection goes further: We remove content that’s meant to degrade or shame, including, for example, claims about someone’s sexual personal activity. We recognize that bullying and harassment can have more of an emotional impact on minors, which is why our policies provide heightened protection for users between the ages of 13 and 18. Context and intent matter, and we allow people to post and share if it is clear that something was shared in order to condemn or draw attention to bullying and harassment. In certain instances, we require self-reporting because it helps us understand that the person targeted feels bullied or harassed. In addition to reporting such behavior and content, we encourage people to use tools available on Tripple to help protect against it. Note: This policy does not apply to individuals who are part of designated organizations under the Dangerous Organizations and Individuals policy or individuals who died prior to 1900. • Human Exploitation Policy Rationale: After consulting with outside experts from around the world, we are consolidating several existing exploitation policies, that were previously housed in different sections of the Community Standards into one dedicated section that focuses on human exploitation and captures a broad range of harmful activities that may manifest on our platform. Experts think and talk about these issues under one umbrella human exploitation. In an effort to disrupt and prevent harm, we remove content that facilitates or coordinates the exploitation of humans, including human trafficking. We define human trafficking as the business of depriving someone of liberty for profit. It is the exploitation of humans in order to force them to engage in commercial sex, labor or other activities against their will. It relies on deception, force and coercion, and degrades humans by depriving them of their freedom while economically or materially benefiting others. Human trafficking is multi-faceted and global; it can affect anyone regardless of age, socioeconomic background, ethnicity, gender or location. It takes many forms, and any given trafficking situation can involve various stages of development. By the coercive nature of this abuse, victims cannot consent. While we need to be careful not to conflate human trafficking and smuggling, they can be related and exhibit overlap. The United Nations defines human smuggling as the procurement or facilitation of illegal entry into a state across international borders. Without necessity for coercion or force, it may still result in the exploitation of vulnerable individuals who are trying to leave their country of origin, often in pursuit of a better life. Human smuggling is a crime against a state, relying on movement, and human trafficking is a crime against a person, relying on exploitation. Do not post: Content or exhibited behavior that may lead to human exploitation, which includes any of the following: Sex trafficking, covering minors and adults. Sales of children or illegal adoption. Orphanage trafficking and orphanage volun-tourism. Forced marriages. Labor exploitation (including bonded labor). Domestic servitude. Content geared towards the: Recruitment of potential victims through force, fraud, coercion, enticement, deception, blackmail or other non-consensual acts. Facilitation of human exploitation by coordinating, transporting, transferring, harboring or brokering of victims prior or during the exploitation. Exploitation of humans by promoting, depicting or advocating for it. Content that offers to provide or facilitate human smuggling

Depictions of someone in a medical or health facility if reported by the person pictured or an authorized representative. In certain cases, we will allow content that may otherwise violate the Community Standards when it is determined that the content is satirical. Content will only be allowed if the violating elements of the content are being satirized or attributed to something or someone else in order to mock or criticize them.
  • OBJECTIONABLE CONTENT Hate Speech: Policy Rationale We believe that people use their voice and connect more freely when they don’t feel attacked on the basis of who they are. That is why we don’t allow hate speech on Tripple. It creates an environment of intimidation and exclusion, and in some cases may promote offline violence. We define hate speech as a direct attack against people — rather than concepts or institutions— on the basis of what we call protected characteristics: race, ethnicity, national origin, disability, religious affiliation, caste, sexual orientation, sex, gender identity and serious disease. We define attacks as violent or dehumanizing speech, harmful stereotypes, statements of inferiority, expressions of contempt, disgust or dismissal, cursing and calls for exclusion or segregation. We also prohibit the use of harmful stereotypes, which we define as dehumanizing comparisons that have historically been used to attack, intimidate, or exclude specific groups, and that are often linked with offline violence. We consider age a protected characteristic when referenced along with another protected characteristic. We also protect refugees, migrants, immigrants and asylum seekers from the most severe attacks, though we do allow commentary and criticism of immigration policies. Similarly, we provide some protections for characteristics like occupation, when they’re referenced along with a protected characteristic. Sometimes, based on local nuance, we consider certain words or phrases as code words for PC groups. We recognize that people sometimes share content that includes someone else’s hate speech to condemn it or raise awareness. In other cases, speech that might otherwise violate our standards can be used self-referentially or in an empowering way. Our policies are designed to allow room for these types of speech, but we require people to clearly indicate their intent. If the intention is unclear, we may remove content. Learn more about our approach to hate speech.
  • Violent and Graphic Content Policy Rationale: We remove content that glorifies violence or celebrates the suffering or humiliation of others because it may create an environment that discourages participation. We allow graphic content (with some limitations) to help people raise awareness about these issues. We know that people value the ability to discuss important issues like human rights abuses or acts of terrorism. We also know that people have different sensitivities with regard to graphic and violent content. For that reason, we add a warning label to especially graphic or violent content so that it is not available to people under the age of 18 and so people are aware of the graphic or violent nature before they click to see it. Do not post: Imagery of people Videos of people or dead bodies in non-medical settings if they depict Dismemberment. Visible internal organs; partially decomposed bodies. Charred or burning people unless in the context of cremation or self-immolation when that action is a form of political speech or newsworthy. Victims of cannibalism. Throat-slitting. Live streams of capital punishment of a person Sadistic Remarks Sadistic remarks towards imagery that is deleted or put behind a warning screen under this policy, unless there is a self-defense context or explicit educational context in a medical setting. Sadistic remarks towards imagery of one or more persons subjected to violence and/or humiliating acts by one or more uniformed personnel doing a police function. Offering or soliciting imagery that is deleted or put behind a warning screen under this policy, when accompanied by sadistic remarks. Explicit sadistic remarks towards the suffering of animals depicted in the imagery. For the following content, we include a warning screen so that people are aware the content may be disturbing. We also limit the ability to view the content to adults, ages 18 and older: Imagery of people Videos of people or dead bodies in a medical setting if they depict: Dismemberment. Visible internal organs; partially decomposed bodies. Charred or burning people, including cremation or self-immolation when that action is a form of political speech or newsworthy. Victims of cannibalism. Throat-slitting. Photos of wounded or dead people if they show: Dismemberment. Visible internal organs; partially decomposed bodies. Charred or burning people. Imagery of animal to animal fights, when there are visible innards or dismemberment of non-regenerating body, unless in the wild. Imagery of humans committing acts of torture or abuse against live animals. Imagery of animals showing wounds or cuts that render visible innards or dismemberment, if there is no explicit manufacturing, hunting, taxidermy, medical treatment, rescue or food consumption, preparation or processing context, or the animal is already skinned or with its outer layer fully removed. For the following content, we include a label so that people are aware the content may be sensitive: Imagery of non-medical foreign objects voluntarily inserted into people through skin in religious or cultural context Imagery of visible innards in a birthing context Imagery of fetuses and newborn babies that show: Dismemberment. Visible innards. An abortion or abandonment context. Imagery of newborn babies in an abandonment context Imagery of animals in a ritual slaughter context showing dismemberment, or visible innards, or charring or burning For the following Community Standards, we require additional information and/or context to enforce: We remove: Videos and photos that show the violent death of someone when a family member requests its removal.
  • Adult Nudity and Sexual Activity Policy Rationale: We restrict the display of nudity or sexual activity because some people in our community may be sensitive to this type of content. Additionally, we default to removing sexual imagery to prevent the sharing of non-consensual or underage content. Restrictions on the display of sexual activity also apply to digitally created content unless it is posted for educational, humorous, or satirical purposes. Our nudity policies have become more nuanced over time. We understand that nudity can be shared for a variety of reasons, including as a form of protest, to raise awareness about a cause, or for educational or medical reasons. Where such intent is clear, we make allowances for the content. For example, while we restrict some images of female breasts that include the nipple, we allow other images, including those depicting acts of protest, women actively engaged in breast-feeding and photos of post-mastectomy scarring. For images depicting visible genitalia or the anus in the context of birth and after-birth moments or health-related situations we include a warning label so that people are aware that the content may be sensitive. We also allow photographs of paintings, sculptures, and other art that depicts nude figures. Do not post: Imagery of real nude adults, if it depicts: Visible genitalia except in the context of birth giving and after-birth moments or health-related situations (for example, gender confirmation surgery, examination for cancer or disease prevention/assessment). Visible anus and/or fully nude close-ups of buttocks unless photoshopped on a public figure. Uncovered female nipples except in the context of breastfeeding, birth giving and after-birth moments, health-related situations (for example, post-mastectomy, breast cancer awareness or gender confirmation surgery) or an act of protest. Imagery of sexual activity, including: Explicit sexual activity and stimulation Explicit sexual intercourse or oral sex, defined as mouth or genitals entering or in contact with another person’s genitals or anus, where at least one person’s genitals are nude. Explicit stimulation of genitalia or anus, defined as stimulating genitalia or anus or inserting objects, including sex toys, into genitalia or anus, where the genitalia and contact with the genitalia is directly visible. Implied sexual activity and stimulation Implied sexual intercourse or oral sex, defined as mouth or genitals entering or in contact with another person’s genitals or anus, when the genitalia is not directly visible, except in cases of a sexual health context, advertisements and recognized fictional images or with indicators of fiction. Implied stimulation of genitalia or anus, defined as stimulating genitalia or anus or inserting objects, including sex toys, into or above genitalia or anus, when the activity or contact is not directly visible, except in cases of sexual health context, advertisements, and recognized fictional images or with indicators of fiction. Digital content that meets our definition of sexual activity, where: The sexual activity (intercourse or other sexual activities) isn’t directly visible. The content was posted in a satirical or humorous context. Only body shapes or contours are visible.
  • Sexual Solicitation Policy Rationale: As noted in Section 8 of our Community Standards (Adult Sexual Exploitation), people use Tripple to discuss and draw attention to sexual violence and exploitation. We recognize the importance of and allow for this discussion. We also allow for the discussion of sex worker rights advocacy and sex work regulation. We draw the line, however, when content facilitates, encourages or coordinates sexual encounters or commercial sexual services between adults. We do this to avoid facilitating transactions that may involve trafficking, coercion and non-consensual sexual acts. We also restrict sexually-explicit language that may lead to sexual solicitation because some audiences within our global community may be sensitive to this type of content, and it may impede the ability for people to connect with their friends and the broader community. Do not post: Content that offers or asks for adult commercial services, such as requesting, offering or asking for rates for escort service and paid sexual fetish or domination services. (Content that recruits or offers other people for third-party commercial sex work is separately considered under the Human Exploitation policy). Attempted coordination of or recruitment for, adult sexual activities, except when promoting an event or venue, including but not limited to: Filmed sexual activities. Pornographic activities, strip club shows, live sex performances or erotic dances. Sexual, erotic or tantric massages. Explicit sexual solicitation by, including but not limited to the following, offering or asking for: Offering or asking for sex or sexual partners (including partners who share fetish or sexual interests). Sex chat or conversations. Nude photos/videos/imagery/sexual fetish items. Sexual slang terms. We allow expressing desire for sexual activity, promoting sex education, discussing sexual practices or experiences, or offering classes or programs that teach techniques or discuss sex. Content that is implicitly or indirectly offering or asking for sexual solicitation and meets both of the following criteria. If both criteria are not met, it is not deemed to be violating. For example, if content is a hand-drawn image depicting sexual activity but does not ask or offer sexual solicitation, it is not violating: Criteria 1: Offer or ask Content that implicitly or indirectly (typically through providing a method of contact) offers or asks for sexual solicitation. Criteria 2: Suggestive Elements Content that makes the aforementioned offer or ask using one of the following sexually suggestive elements: Contextually specific and commonly sexual emojis or emoji strings, or Regional sexualized slang, or Mentions or depictions of sexual activity (including hand drawn, digital, or real-world art) such as sexual roles, sex positions, fetish scenarios, state of arousal, act of sexual intercourse or activity (e.g. sexual penetration or self-pleasuring), or Poses. Audio of sexual activity or other content that violates the Adult Nudity and Sexual Activity An offer or ask for pornographic material (including, but not limited to, sharing of links to external pornographic websites) Sexually-explicit language that goes into graphic detail beyond mere reference to: A state of sexual arousal (e.g wetness or erection) or An act of sexual intercourse (e.g sexual penetration, self-pleasuring or exercising fetish scenarios). Except for content shared in a humorous, satirical, or educational context, as a sexual metaphor or as sexual cursing. For the following Community Standards, we require additional information and/or context to enforce: In certain cases, we will allow content that may otherwise violate the Community Standards when it is determined that the content is satirical. Content will only be allowed if the violating elements of the content are being satirized or attributed to something or someone else in order to mock or criticize them.
  • INTEGRITY AND AUTHENTICITY Account Integrity and Authentic Identity Policy Rationale: Authenticity is the cornerstone of our community. We believe that authenticity helps create a community where people are accountable to each other, and to Tripple, in meaningful ways. We want to allow for the range of diverse ways that identity is expressed across our global community, while also preventing impersonation and identity misrepresentation. That is why we require people to connect on Tripple using the name they go by in everyday life. Our authenticity policies are intended to create a safe environment where people can trust and hold one another accountable. In order to maintain a safe environment and empower free expression, we remove accounts that are harmful to the community, including those that compromise the security of other accounts and our services. We have built a combination of automated and manual systems to block and remove accounts that are used to persistently or egregiously abuse our Community Standards. Because account level removal is a severe action, whenever possible, we aim to give our community a chance to learn our rules and follow our Community Standards. Penalties, including account disables, are designed to be proportionate to the severity of the violation and the risk of harm posed to the community. Continued violations, despite repeated warnings and restrictions, or violations that pose severe safety risks will lead to an account being disabled. We do not allow the use of our services and will disable accounts if you: Severely violate our Community Standards. Persistently violate our Community Standards. Represent Dangerous Individuals or Organizations. Create or use an account that demonstrates an intent to violate our Community Standards. Create an account, Page, Group or Event to evade our enforcement actions, including creating an account to bypass a restriction or after we have disabled your previous account, Page, Group or Event. Impersonate others by: Using their photos with the explicit aim to deceive others. Creating an account assuming to be or speak for another person or entity. Creating a Page assuming to be or speak for another person or entity for whom the user is not authorized to do so. Are under 13 years old. Are a convicted sex offender. Are prohibited from receiving our products, services or software under applicable laws. In certain cases, such as those outlined below, we will seek further information about an account before taking actions ranging from temporarily restricting accounts to permanently disabling them. Accounts misrepresenting their identity (Tripple and Messenger only) by: Using a name that is not the authentic name you go by in everyday life Using an inherently violating name, containing slurs or any other violations of the Community Standards Providing a false date of birth. Creating a single account that represents or is used by more than one person. Maintaining multiple accounts as a single user. Compromised accounts. Empty accounts with prolonged dormancy.
  • Spam Policy Rationale: We work hard to limit the spread of spam because we do not want to allow content that is designed to deceive, or that attempts to mislead users, to increase viewership. This content creates a negative user experience, detracts from people’s ability to engage authentically in online communities and can threaten the security, stability and usability of our services. We also aim to prevent people from abusing our platform, products or features to artificially increase viewership or distribute content en masse for commercial gain. Do not. Post, share, engage with content or create accounts, Groups, Pages, Events or other assets, either manually or automatically, at very high frequencies. Attempt to or successfully sell, buy or exchange site privileges or product features, such as accounts, admin roles, permission to post, Pages, Groups, likes, etc., except in the case of clearly identified branded content, as defined by our Branded Content Policies. Require or claim that users are required to engage with content (e.g. liking, sharing) before they are able to view or interact with promised content. Encourage likes, shares, follows, clicks or the use of apps or websites under false pretenses, such as: Offering false or non-existent services or functionality(e.g. “Get a ‘Dislike’ button!”) Failing to direct to promised content (e.g. “Click here for a discount code at Nordstrom”; false play buttons) Directing users off of Tripple through the deceptive or misleading use of URLs, defined as: Cloaking. Presenting different content to Tripple users and Tripple crawlers or tools. Misleading content. Content contains a link that promises one type of content but delivers something substantially different. Deceptive pop-up websites. Websites that require an action (e.g. captcha, watch ad, click here) in order to view the expected landing page content and the domain name of the URL changes after the required action is complete. Like/share-gating. Landing pages that require users to like, share, or otherwise engage with content before gaining access to off-Tripple content. Deceptive landing page functionality. Websites that have a misleading user interface, which results in accidental traffic being generated (e.g. pop-ups/unders, clickjacking, etc.). Impersonation. The website pretends to be a reputable brand or service by using a name, domain or content that features typos, misspellings or other means to impersonate well-known brands using a landing page similar to another, trusted site to mislead visitors (e.g. www.trippple.com, www.trypple.com ). And other behaviors that are substantially similar to the above.
  • Cybersecurity Policy Rationale: We recognize that the safety of our users includes the security of their personal information, accounts, profiles and other Tripple entities they may manage, as well as our products and services more broadly. Attempts to gather sensitive personal information or engage in unauthorized access by deceptive or invasive methods are harmful to the authentic, open and safe atmosphere that we want to foster. Therefore, we do not allow attempts to gather sensitive user information or engage in unauthorized access through the abuse of our platform, products, or services. Do not: Attempt to compromise user accounts, profiles, or other Tripple entities, abuse our products or services, gather sensitive information through deceptive means, or attempt to engage in unauthorized access, including: Gaining access to accounts, profiles Tripple, Legac-E LLC entities, or user data other than your own through deceptive means or without explicit permission from the account, profile, or entity owner. Encouraging or deceiving users to download or run files or programs that will compromise a user’s online or data security, including through malicious software or websites. Such files and programs will be deemed malicious software or “malware” if they harm or gain unauthorized access to a computer, device, or network. Attempting to obtain, acquire or request another user’s login credentials or other sensitive information, whether explicitly or through deceptive means such as phishing (e.g. fake surveys designed to capture log-in info or links to fake login pages or impostor websites) or the use of malicious software or websites. Publicly sharing your own or others’ login information, either on platform or through a third party service. Creating, sharing or hosting malicious software including browser extensions and mobile applications, on or off the platform that put our users or products and services at risk. Providing online infrastructure, including web hosting services, domain name system servers and ad networks that enables abusive links such that a majority of those links on Tripple or Instagram violate the spam or cybersecurity sections of the Community Standards.
  • Inauthentic Behavior Policy Rationale: In line with our commitment to authenticity, we do not allow people to misrepresent themselves on Tripple, use fake accounts, artificially boost the popularity of content or engage in behaviors designed to enable other violations under our Community Standards. This policy is intended to protect the security of user accounts and our services, and create a space where people can trust the people and communities they interact with. Do not: Use multiple Tripple accounts or share accounts between multiple people Misuse Tripple or Instagram reporting systems to harass others Conceal a Page’s purpose by misleading users about the ownership or control of that Page Engage in or claim to engage in inauthentic behavior, which is defined as the use of Tripple or Instagram assets (accounts, Pages, Groups, or Events), to mislead people or Tripple: About the identity, purpose, or origin of the entity that they represent. • False News: Policy RationaleReducing the spread of false news on Tripple is a responsibility that we take seriously. We also recognize that this is a challenging and sensitive issue. We want to help people stay informed without stifling productive public discourse. There is also a fine line between false news and satire or opinion. For these reasons, we do not remove false news from Tripple but we significantly reduce its distribution by showing it lower in News Feed. Learn more about our work to reduce the spread of false news here and here. We are working to build a more informed community and reduce the spread of false news in a number of different ways, namely by: Disrupting economic incentives for people, Pages, and domains that propagate misinformation. Using various signals, including feedback from our community, to inform a machine learning model that predicts which stories may be false. Reducing the distribution of content rated false by independent fact-checkers. Empowering people to decide for themselves what to read, trust or share by informing them with more context and promoting news literacy. Collaborating with academics and other organizations to help solve this challenging issue.
  • Manipulated Media: Media, including image, audio or video, can be edited in a variety of ways. In many cases, these changes are benign, such as a filter effect on a photo. In other cases, the manipulation is not apparent and could mislead, particularly in the case of video content. We aim to remove this category of manipulated media when the criteria laid out below have been met. In addition, we will continue to invest in partnerships (including with journalists, academics and independent fact-checkers) to help us reduce the distribution of false news and misinformation, as well as to better inform people about the content they encounter online. For the following Community Standards, we require additional information and/or context to enforce: Do not post: Videos that have been edited or synthesized, beyond adjustments for clarity or quality, in ways that are not apparent to an average person, and would likely mislead an average person to believe: A subject of the video said words that they did not say, AND The video is the product of artificial intelligence or machine learning, including deep learning techniques (e.g., a technical deepfake), that merges, combines, replaces, and/or superimposes content onto a video, creating a video that appears authentic. This policy does not extend to content that is parody or satire, or is edited to omit words that were said or change the order of words that were said.
  • Memorialization Policy Rationale: When someone passes away, friends and family or a user assigned Next of Kin, can request that we memorialize the Tripple account. Once memorialized, the user’s name and profile will visually reflect that they have passed away and this will be announced to their friends and family on their feed. All digital items that the user has set in motion prior to passing away, will be activated upon their passing if they have set them to do so at this time. This includes bequeathed items, digital wills, future messages, albums, wishes and casts. Memorializing a profile protects against attempted logins and fraudulent activity. To respect the choices someone made while alive, we aim to preserve their account after they pass away in the exact way they intended it to be as their digital legacy. The Next of Kin will only have feed updating, wish confirming, digital will distribution and coordinating of events after the user’s passing. They will not have the ability to delete, change or hide content as set by the user as part of their digital legacy. For victims of murder and suicide we will remove the following content if it appears on the deceased’s profile photo, cover photo, or among recent timeline posts when requested by a legacy contact or family member of the deceased. Visual depiction of the object used in the deceased’s death. Imagery of the convicted or alleged murderer of the deceased. Content related to the deceased’s death. For victims of murder, we will also remove the convicted or alleged murderer from the deceased’s profile if referenced in relationship status or among friends.
  • For the following Community Standards, we require additional information and/or context to enforce: When brought to our attention by the Next of Kin or a family member of the deceased, we will: Remove violating comments on a memorialized profile, which would typically require the individual to self report so that we know that they are unwanted. Remove praise or support for the death, disease, or harm of the deceased person on a memorialized profile. Change the deceased individual’s privacy settings from public to friends-only when there is harmful content on the profile. Change a violating account name on the profile of the deceased individual.

Upon receipt of a report from a rights holder or an authorized representative, we will remove or restrict content that engages in: Copyright infringement. Trademark infringement.
  • User Requests We comply with: User requests for removal of their own account. Requests for removal of a deceased user’s account by family or the exector will be considered on a case by case basis. Tripple is an application that promotes the creation of an online digital legacy, exactly how the user wanted it done, for now and into the future. As such our priority at Tripple is to keep the digital legacy of the user active, intact and unchanged. We endeavor to honor the wishes of our users in this regard by preserving their Tripple Digital Legacy to be enjoyed by future friends and family. By engaging with Tripple, a digital legacy application, and sharing content, inherited items, medical intentions, mentorship advice, charitable acts and memories, the user has given explicit consent to have their account memorialized and preserved into the future. We intend to honor this wish of the user as a priority above the wishes of others to remove the account except in extreme instances.
  • Additional Protection of Minors We comply with: Requests for removal of an underage account. Government requests for removal of child abuse imagery depicting, for example, beating by an adult or strangling or suffocating by an adult. For the following Community Standards, we require additional information and/or context to enforce: We may remove content created for the purpose of identifying a private minor if there may be a risk to the minor’s safety when requested by a user, government, law enforcement or external child safety experts.
  • COMMERCIAL TERMS: These terms apply if you also access or use our Products for any commercial or business purpose, including advertising, operating an app on our Platform, using our measurement services, managing a group or a Page for a business, or selling goods or services. Legac-E Commercial Terms (“Commercial Terms”) These Commercial Terms apply to access or use of the Legac-E Products (or “Products”), for a business or commercial purpose (except where we state that separate terms, and not these Commercial Terms, apply to such access or use of a Tripple Product). Business or commercial purposes include using ads, selling products, developing apps, managing a Page, managing a Group for business purposes, or using our measurement services regardless of the entity type. You agree that you will ensure that any third party on whose behalf you access or use any Legac-E Product for any business or commercial purpose will abide by the applicable terms of use, including these Commercial Terms, the Legac-E Terms of Service (“Terms”), and any applicable supplemental terms, and you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that third party to such terms. As more fully described below, if you reside in the United States or your business is located in the United States, these Commercial Terms require the resolution of most disputes between you and us by binding arbitration on an individual basis; class actions and jury trials are not permitted. Licenses: As described in “The permissions you give us” section in our Terms, you grant us a license to content that is covered by intellectual property rights (like photos or videos) you share, post, or upload on or in connection with our Legac-E Products. For any access or use of the Legac-E Products, that license applies to content you or someone on your behalf (such as your agency that places an ad for you or your service provider that manages your Page content for you) makes available on or in connection with any Legac-E Product. You also will ensure that you own or have secured all rights necessary to grant the licenses and rights you (or someone on your behalf) grant to us under the Commercial Terms and any applicable supplemental terms, including permission to display, distribute and deliver your content within the Legac-E Products. Compliance with Law: You represent and warrant that your access or use of the Legac-E Products for business or commercial purposes complies with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. You further represent that you will restrict access to your content and apps in accordance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, including geo-filtering or age-gating access where required. In addition to and without limiting the requirements about who can use the Legac-E Products under our Terms, if you are located in a country that is subject to embargo under the laws of the United States (or under similar laws applicable to you) you may not engage in commercial activities on the Legac-E Products unless authorized by applicable laws. If you are on the U.S. Treasury Department’s list of Specially Designated Nationals (or an equivalent list), you may not engage in commercial or business activities on the Legac-E Products (such as advertising or payments). You also may not access or use the Legac-E Products if you are prohibited from receiving products, services, or software under applicable law. Data Restrictions: You may not send us information prohibited by the supplemental terms or policies. In addition, you may not send to us, or use Legac-E Products to collect from people, information that: (i) you know or reasonably should know is from or about children under the age of 13; or (ii) includes health, financial, biometrics, or other categories of similarly sensitive information (including any information defined as sensitive under applicable law); except in cases where (a) the terms for that Legac-E Product specifically allow it or (b) you are sending financial information for the express purpose of effecting a financial transaction either with us or as enabled by a Legac-E Product. Limits on Liability: In addition to and without limiting the scope of the “Limits on liability” section in our Terms, you agree that we are not responsible for the actions, services, content, or data of third parties and you release us, our directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claims and damages, known or unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with any claim you have against any such third parties. If you are a California resident, you agree to waive California Civil Code § 1542, which says: A GENERAL RELEASE DOES NOT EXTEND TO CLAIMS WHICH THE CREDITOR DOES NOT KNOW OR SUSPECT TO EXIST IN HIS OR HER FAVOR AT THE TIME OF EXECUTING THE RELEASE, WHICH IF KNOWN BY HIM OR HER MUST HAVE MATERIALLY AFFECTED HIS OR HER SETTLEMENT WITH THE DEBTOR. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to any access or use of the Legac-E Products, the Terms (for any access or use of the Legac-E Products for business or commercial purposes), or these Commercial Terms will not exceed the greater of one hundred dollars ($100) or the amount you have paid us in the past twelve months. Disputes: Third Party Claims: If anyone brings a claim, cause of action, or dispute against us related to your services, actions, content or information on Tripple or other Legac-E Products or your use of any Legac-E Products, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from and against any damages, losses, and expenses of any kind (including reasonable legal fees and costs) related to any such claim, cause of action, or dispute. Commercial Claims: Sections 5.c and 5.d below apply to any claim, cause of action, or dispute that arises out of or relates to any access or use of the Legac-E Products for business or commercial purposes (“Commercial Claim”) between you and Legac-E. U.S. Commercial Claims: If you reside in the United States or your business is located in the United States: You agree to arbitrate Commercial Claims between you and Legac-E LLC. This provision does not cover any commercial claims relating to violations of your or our intellectual property rights, including, but not limited to, copyright infringement, patent infringement, trademark infringement, violations of the Brand Usage Guidelines, violations of your or our confidential information or trade secrets, or efforts to interfere with our Products or engage with our Products in unauthorized ways (for example, automated ways). If a Commercial Claim between you and Legac-E LLC is not subject to arbitration, you agree that the claim must be resolved exclusively in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York, and that you submit to the personal jurisdiction of either of these courts for the purpose of litigating any such claim. We and you agree that, by entering into this arbitration provision, all parties are waiving their respective rights to a trial by jury or to participate in a class or representative action. THE PARTIES AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING COMMERCIAL CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, REPRESENTATIVE, OR PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL PROCEEDING. You may bring a Commercial Claim only on your own behalf and cannot seek relief that would affect other parties. If there is a final judicial determination that any particular Commercial Claim (or a request for particular relief) cannot be arbitrated according to the limitations of this Section 5.c, then only that Commercial Claim (or only that request for relief) may be brought in court. All other Commercial Claims (or requests for relief) will remain subject to this Section 5.c. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this arbitration provision. All issues are for an arbitrator to decide, except that only a court may decide issues relating to the scope or enforceability of this arbitration provision or the interpretation of the prohibition of class and representative actions. If any party intends to seek arbitration of a dispute, that party must provide the other party with notice in writing. This notice of dispute to us must be sent to the following address: Legac-E LLC., 15 Prospect Ridge, Horseheads, NY 14845. The arbitration will be governed by the AAA’s Commercial Arbitration Rules (“AAA Rules”), as modified by these Commercial Terms, and will be administered by the AAA. If the AAA is unavailable, the parties will agree to another arbitration provider or the court will appoint a substitute. The arbitrator will not be bound by rulings in other arbitrations in which you are not a party. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, any evidentiary submissions made in arbitration will be maintained as confidential in the absence of good cause for its disclosure. The arbitrator’s award will be maintained as confidential only to the extent necessary to protect either party’s trade secrets or proprietary business information or to comply with a legal requirement mandating confidentiality. Each party will be responsible for paying any AAA filing, administrative and arbitrator fees in accordance with AAA Rules, except that we will pay for your filing, administrative, and arbitrator fees if your Commercial Claim for damages does not exceed $75,000 and is non-frivolous (as measured by the standards set forth in Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 11(b)). If you do not wish to be bound by this provision (including its waiver of class and representative claims), you must notify us as set forth below within 30 days of the first acceptance date of any version of these Commercial Terms containing an arbitration provision. Your notice to us under this Section 5.c must be submitted to the address here: Legac-E LLC, 15 Prospect Ridge, Horseheads, NY 14845. All Commercial Claims between us, whether subject to arbitration or not, will be governed by New York law, excluding New York’s conflict of laws rules, except to the extent that New York law is contrary to or preempted by federal law. If a Commercial Claim between you and us is not subject to arbitration, you agree that the claim must be resolved exclusively in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York, and that you submit to the personal jurisdiction of either of these courts for the purpose of litigating any such claim. Commercial Claims outside the United States: If you reside outside the United States or your business is located outside the United States, you agree that: Any Commercial Claim between you and Legac-E LLC must be resolved exclusively in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York, that you submit to the personal jurisdiction of either of these courts for the purpose of litigating any such claim, and that the laws of the State of New York will govern these Commercial Terms and any such claim, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Notwithstanding (i) and (ii) above, any Commercial Claim between you and Legac-E LLC must be resolved exclusively in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York, that you submit to the personal jurisdiction of either of these courts for the purpose of litigating any such claim, and that the laws of the State of New York will govern these Commercial Terms and any such claim, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Without prejudice to the foregoing, you agree that, in our sole discretion, we may also bring any claim we have against you related to efforts to abuse, interfere, or engage with our Products in unauthorized ways in the country in which you reside that has jurisdiction over the claim. Severability: If any provision of this Section 5 is found unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the balance of this Section 5 will remain in full force and effect. Updates: We may need to update these Commercial Terms from time to time, including to accurately reflect the access or uses of our Products for business or commercial purposes, and so we encourage you to check them regularly for any updates. By continuing any access or use of any Legac-E Products for business or commercial purposes after any notice of an update to these Commercial Terms, you agree to be bound by them. Any updates to Section 5 of these Commercial Terms will apply only to disputes that arise after notice of the update takes place. If you do not agree to the updated terms, please stop all access or use of our Products for business or commercial purposes. Conflicts and Supplemental Terms: If there is a conflict between these Commercial Terms and the Terms, these Commercial Terms will govern with respect to your access and use of the Legac-E Products for business or commercial purposes to the extent of the conflict. Supplemental terms and policies may also apply to your use of certain Legac-E Products. To the extent those supplemental terms conflict with the Commercial Terms, the supplemental terms will govern with respect to your use of those Legac-E Products to the extent of the conflict. If any portion of these Commercial Terms are found to be unenforceable, then (except as otherwise provided) that portion will be severed and the remaining portion will remain in full force and effect. If we fail to enforce any of these Commercial Terms, it will not be considered a waiver. Except as permitted in Section 6, any amendment to or waiver of these Commercial Terms must be made in writing and signed by us. You will not transfer any of your rights or obligations under these Commercial Terms to anyone else without our consent. These Commercial Terms do not confer any third party beneficiary rights. We offer tools to provide transparency and controls to our users about the Tripple experience, including information to show them why they are being shown specific content or provide feedback about content, and controls to block content or stop seeing certain types of content (such as by removing themselves from interests used for advertising). You agree that information about you and your use of Legac-E Products for commercial or business purposes may be included in these tools. For clarity, our license to content extends to the display of content in conjunction with providing these tools. You consent that we may disclose your advertising content and Tripple Page posts (“Commercial Content”), and all information associated with such Commercial Content, including information associated with the delivery of that Commercial Content, in response to valid legal process related to an electoral matter or to a governmental entity or body if Legac-E believes that disclosure would assist in a lawful investigation. Please note that our retention policies for Commercial Content may differ from those set forth in the Terms. We retain Commercial Content as necessary to provide our services to users, for internal record keeping, and for product improvement and safety purposes. All of our rights and obligations under these Commercial Terms are freely assignable by us in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, or by operation of law or otherwise. Nothing in these Commercial Terms or any applicable supplemental terms will prevent us from complying with the law. We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you. Note: For purposes of these Commercial Terms, references in existing terms or agreements to (i) “the Statement of Rights and Responsibilities,” “Statement,” or “SRR,” will now mean the Legac-E Terms or Terms and (ii) “Tripple” (when used to refer to our products and services) or “Tripple Services” or “Services” will now mean Legac-E Products.
  • ADVERTISING POLICIES: These policies specify what types of ad content are allowed by partners who advertise across the Legac-E Products. Contact ads@tripple.social with your advertisement applications or questions.
    1. Overview:Understanding Our Policies Our Advertising Policies provide guidance on what types of ad content are allowed. When advertisers place an order, each ad is reviewed against these policies. If you think your ad was mistakenly disapproved, you can request a review of the decision in Account Quality. To help you build a compliant and user-friendly ads experience we’ve highlighted some common areas of confusion. Personal Attributes Sexually Suggestive Content Tripple’s Brands
    2. The Ad Review Process: The Tripple ad review system relies primarily on automated tools to check ads against our Advertising Policies. This happens automatically before ads begin running, and is typically completed within 48 hours, although it may take longer in some cases. 3. What is reviewed: The ad review system reviews ads for violations of our Advertising Policies. Outcome of review If a violation is found at any point in the review process, the ad will be rejected. Disabled accounts, Pages or Business Managers cannot run ads, and advertisers may be ineligible to advertise. 4. What to do if your ad is rejected?: Create a new ad or edit your ad You may create a new ad or revise your ad to comply with our Advertising Policies. 4. Once displayed, ads are public information. Ads may be re-shared and accessed outside of the targeted audience, including from the Tripple Page running the ads or within Tripple Products. If users have interacted with your ad, your ad may remain on Tripple products (for example, shared until the users delete it or visible to users through their account tools). If your ad is a political ad, it will be displayed in our Ad Archive. This means that Tripple may display (at no cost to you) and provide access to the ad content and creative, as well as information about the ad campaign (such as total spend and delivery data) for a period of seven (7) years from the completion of your order. • SELF-SERVE AD TERMS: These terms apply when you use self-serve advertising interfaces to create, submit, or deliver advertising or other commercial or sponsored activity or content. Self-Serve Ad Terms The following terms (“Self-Serve Advertising Terms” or “Self-Serve Ad Terms”) apply to your use of Tripple Products (such as the self-service advertising interfaces and APIs) for creation, submission and/or delivery of any advertising or other commercial or sponsored activity or content (collectively, “Self-Serve Ad Interfaces”) and any order you place through the Self-Serve Ad Interfaces (“Order”). You can target your desired audience by buying ads to be delivered on Tripple, or any place we serve ads. When you place an Order, you will tell us the type of advertising you want to buy, the amount you want to spend, and your bid. If we accept your Order, we will deliver your ads as inventory becomes available. When serving your ad, we use best efforts to deliver the ads to the audience you specify or to achieve the outcome you select, though we cannot guarantee in every instance that your ad will reach its intended target or achieve the outcome you select. Your ads must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines, as well as our Advertising Policies. Failure to comply may result in a variety of consequences, including the cancellation of ads you have placed and termination of your account. We may reject or remove any ad for any reason. You will pay for your Orders in accordance with the following: You will comply with our Community Payments Terms to the extent applicable. You will pay all amounts specified in each Order you place, along with any applicable taxes. The amount you owe for each Order will be calculated based on our tracking mechanisms. By placing an Order, you authorize us to obtain your personal and/or business credit report from a credit bureau, either when you place an Order or at any time thereafter. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your advertising account, and you understand that you will be charged for any Orders placed on or through your advertising account. If you are making direct debit payments, you agree that we can charge you any amount that falls within the range you agreed to upon signup. We will notify you in advance if any charge will exceed the agreed-upon range. You can cancel an Order at any time, but your ads may run for 24 hours after you notify us, and you are still responsible for paying for all ads that run. The amounts we charge you may be subject to and include applicable taxes and levies, including without limitation withholding taxes. You are responsible for bearing and remitting any taxes that apply to your transactions. You will indemnify and hold us harmless from and against any claim arising out of your failure to do so. If your payment method fails or your account is past due, we may take additional steps to collect past due amounts. You will pay all expenses associated with such collection, including reasonable attorneys’ fees. Past due amounts will accrue interest at 1% per month or the lawful maximum, whichever is less. We may allow you to purchase ads with an “Advertiser Balance,” which is a pre-paid balance that can be used solely to purchase ads on Tripple. Advertiser Balances are only for business or commercial purposes. Advertiser Balances are non-refundable except where required by law. Tripple is not a bank and does not offer banking services; accordingly, Advertiser Balances do not earn interest, are not deposit obligations, and are not insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, or any other entity or insurance scheme, whether governmental or private. You will fall under one of two categories depending on your payment method: invoiced or non-invoiced client. Invoiced clients are those for whom Tripple sets a maximum spending limit and issues invoices on a periodic basis for payment in accordance with the applicable invoicing terms. Non-invoiced clients are those who must make payments at the time of purchase itself. In its sole discretion, Tripple may classify clients as invoiced clients based on factors such as ad spend and creditworthiness. From time to time, we need to test improvements to our audiences and delivery systems, which could impact your advertising. Our testing is designed to improve the effectiveness of your advertising performance. We reserve the right to test when we believe it will be beneficial for advertiser performance. We will determine the size, placement, and positioning of your ads. Scheduling of delivery is subject to availability and may not be continuous. We do not guarantee the reach or performance that your ads will receive, such as the number of people who will see your ads or the number of clicks your ads will get. We cannot control how clicks are generated on your ads. We have systems that attempt to detect and filter certain click activity, but we are not responsible for click fraud, technological issues, or other potentially invalid click activity that may affect the cost of running ads. Our license to deliver your ad will end when we have completed your Order. You understand, however, that: Once displayed, ads are public information. Ads may be re-shared and accessed outside of the targeted audience (including from the Tripple Page running the ads or within Tripple Products). If users have interacted with your ad, your ad may remain on our Products (e.g., shared until the users delete it or visible to users through their account tools). If your ad is about Social Issues, Elections or Politics, Tripple may display (at no cost to you) and provide access to the ad content and creative, and information about the ad campaign (such as total spend and delivery data, and targeting information) for a period of seven years from the completion of your order. You consent that Tripple may disclose your advertising content, and all information associated with your advertising, to a governmental entity or body if Tripple believes that disclosure would assist in a lawful investigation. We will provide you with reports about the kinds of people seeing your ads and how your ads are performing. Your use of these reports is subject to the Data Use Restrictions in our Advertising Policies. We may provide a business, and all those who advertise for the business, with information about the number of ads being run for the business across the Tripple Products and any applicable restrictions on those ads. We offer tools to provide transparency to our users about how Tripple advertising works and control over their ads experience, including information sufficient to show them why they are being shown specific ads. You agree that information associated with your advertising may be included in these tools, and that those tools may impact your ability to advertise to those users or to prevent them from seeing your ads. You will not issue any press release or make public statements about your relationship with Tripple or the Legac-E LLC Products without our prior written permission. If you are placing ads on someone else’s behalf, you must have permission to place those ads, and agree as follows: You represent and warrant that you have the authority to and will bind the advertiser to these Self-Serve Ad Terms and the Terms of Service, and the Commercial Terms, to which you also agree. If the advertiser you represent violates these Self-Serve Ad Terms, the Terms of Service, or the Commercial Terms, we may hold you responsible for that violation. You agree that we may provide campaign reporting information to the end advertiser for whom you placed a campaign. We may ask you to review and accept supplemental terms that apply to your use of a specific feature or functionality made available through the Self-Serve Ad Interfaces. To the extent those supplemental terms conflict with these Self-Serve Ad Terms, the supplemental terms will govern with respect to your use of the specific feature or functionality to the extent of the conflict. We may change or update these Self-Serve Ad Terms from time to time and your continued use of the Self-Serve Ad Interfaces constitutes acceptance of those changes. Contracting party: If you reside or have your principal place of business in the United States or Canada, Legac-E LLC provides the Self-Serve Ad Interfaces. If you reside or have your principal place of business outside the United States or Canada, contact ads@tripple.social for more information. Notwithstanding the above, advertisers in some countries may be subject to special provisions regarding Orders they place, including, under certain circumstances, that they contract directly with Tripple affiliate companies solely for purposes of placing Orders. For the avoidance of doubt, regardless which entity you contract with (as described in Sections 16.a, 16.b and 16.c), Tripple’s Advertising Policies (and its Community Standards as incorporated) are enforced under the Terms of Service by the entity that provides the Legac-E LLC products under the applicable Terms of Service in your region. Any claim, cause of action, or dispute that arises out of or relates to these Self-Serve Ad Terms is subject to the disputes resolution clause in the Commercial Terms. These Self-Serve Ad Terms will terminate in the event of any termination of the Commercial Terms, but the following provisions will still apply: the lead-in paragraph, Sections 2, 4, 8-12 and 15-18.
